PU Foam Underlay
The most popular type of carpet underlay used in the UK is PU Foam underlay, mainly due to its reduced weight and handleability over rubber alternatives, making it very popular with carpet fitters. Foam is also a natural insulator, and features higher levels of heat retention and soundproofing than rubber, making it a great all-round choice.
We have a large range of PU Foam underlays available, in thicknesses ranging from 7mm to 12mm, and in various densities to suit all budgets and projects.
