Delivery Information
Delivery Service
We offer two delivery services to mainland GB:
- Standard Delivery: 2-3 working days after dispatch (Scottish Grampians & Highlands delivery is usually 3-5 working days)
- Premium Delivery: Next working day after dispatch (We regret our premium delivery service is not available to the Scottish Grampians & Highlands)
- Royal Mail: for small, light parcels such as door bars, we use Royal Mail. Delivery time is 2 working days after dispatch.
We recommend not booking a carpet fitter until you have received your order.
Our couriers deliver Monday to Friday, sometime on the day between 8am and 6pm.
Delivery Costs
We offer free premium delivery on all orders over £200. On all orders under £200 the following delivery charges apply.
- Standard Delivery: £9.95
- Premium Delivery: £19.95
- Royal Mail (Small Door Bars): £4.95
Delivery Of In Stock Products
- Orders placed Monday – Friday before 1pm will be dispatched the same working day
- Orders placed Monday – Friday after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day
- Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday
All dispatch and delivery timescales exclude UK Bank Holidays.
Delivery Of Out Of Stock Products
Some products are on a longer lead time and might take 7-10 days before they are ready for dispatch.
Once your order is ready, delivery times are the same as in stock items.
Products Dispatched Direct By The Supplier
Some of our products are dispatched direct from our suppliers, the delivery timeframe will be clearly shown on the product page prior to ordering.
Delivery Surcharges
Delivery to certain remote post codes may incur an additional surcharge by our couriers. If you need delivery to one of the areas below, please contact us for a quote prior to ordering.
- Isle of Wight (PO30-41)
- Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly
- Scottish Highlands and Islands of Scotland (postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH1-26, PH30-44, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, AB33-38, 43-45, 52-56)
- Channel Islands
Delivery Procedure
All of our deliveries are handled by DX, a national courier used to dealing with heavy and bulky items.
Our delivery service is kerbside only, meaning the driver will leave the goods at the nearest access point at the intended delivery address, and you will be required to collect the goods from there.
Underlay can be heavy (especially rubber) and can weigh up to 45kg per roll, so it is advisable to arrange some assistance on the day of delivery if you need it.
The couriers are not insured to enter your property or carry goods up flights of stairs. Goods delivered to flats may be left in the lobby or reception area as the drivers are only insured for kerbside delivery.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If you aren't home when the couriers attempt to deliver, and there is no-one to receive and sign for your goods, our couriers will leave a card to inform you they attempted to deliver.
They will attempt delivery again on the next (working) day. If this second attempt fails, the goods will be returned to our warehouse and you will be required to pay for another delivery.
If you decide not to pay for a subsequent delivery, we will refund you for your order minus the original delivery charge.
We will send a tracking link once your items have been dispatched to help avoid failed delivery attempts.
Missing and/or Incorrect Items
Any missing or incorrect items should be notified to us within 48 hours of receiving delivery. Please contact us by emailing sales@carpetflooringsupplies.co.uk and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Damaged Items
We expect your order to be delivered in good condition, it is your responsibility to check your goods within 48 hours of delivery for damage, and notify us of any issues immediately.
If you are unable to check your items thoroughly at the time of delivery, please sign for the items as ‘not checked’.
Any claims for damaged items outside of this time frame will be rejected as we are unable to claim the goods as damaged with the courier.
To notify us of damages, please email us on sales@carpetflooringsupplies.co.uk and we will be happy to help resolve your issue. Pictures of the damage will be helpful.
Please note: you agree to receiving and checking the products prior to arranging any fitting or booking any tradesperson.
We are not liable for any costs associated with any third parties in the event of delays or damage to your order.
